Ingredients
- 1 lbSalmon
- Vegetable or Olive Oil
Preparation
How to prepare Salmon:
Before grilling salmon, rinse it and pat dry with paper towels.
In a large Zip Top Bag add 2 tsp. of Lemon Dill with 2 tsp. of water or vegetable oil to make paste for easy coating.
Add Salmon, coat thoroughly with seasoning mixture and Seal Bag.
Place Bag in refrigerator and marinate 30 minutes to 1 hour. No more. Salmon picks up flavor quickly.
How to Prepare Grill and Cook:
Preheat Grill to medium high heat.
Once the grill is hot, clean the grates with a stainless-steel grill brush.
Place the salmon over direct heat with the flesh side down on the grates.
Close the lid and let the salmon cook 3-4 minutes.
Before flipping, check to see if the salmon is sticking to the grates. If it is sticking, then it needs to cook a little longer. Check again in one minute.
Flip the salmon over to the other side using the tongs and let it cook for another 3-4 minutes.
When the salmon is done (145-150 degrees F.) the flesh will flake off and you will be able to take it off the grill using a new tong to lift it and a spatula to get underneath it.
Remove the skin and transfer your fillets to your fresh dish.
Garnish with Lemon Slices.
