- 13 lbWhole Chicken
- Soup, Stock Pot or Dutch Oven
- 2Medium Carrots sliced into ¼ inch thick slices
- 2Celery Stalks sliced into ¼ inch thick slices
- 1Medium Onion Chopped
- Pasta or Rice (Simmer until pasta or rice is done)
Place chicken in large soup pot and cover with cold water. Add 1 Tbsp. Home & Grill Classic Herb & Poultry Rub. Skim off foam every so often. Reduce heat and simmer for 2 hrs. partially covering the pot. Let cool, remove chicken, separate meat from bones. Return meat to broth, add in vegetables, pasta or rice. Bring to boil then reduce heat to simmer and serve.
